| 1. | Remove the center console. |
| 2. | Remove the A/T gear position indicator panel light socket (A) from the indicator panel (B), then remove the bulb (C) from the socket.

| 3. | Remove the shift lock solenoid connector (D) from the shift lever bracket base (E), then remove the connector. |
| 4. | Release the lock tab (F) securing the shift lock solenoid, then remove the shift lock solenoid (G). |
| 5. | Install the shift lock solenoid plunger (H) and spring (I) in the new shift lock solenoid. |
| 6. | Install the shift lock solenoid by aligning the joint (J) of the shift lock solenoid plunger with the tip of the shift lock stop (K). |
| 7. | Install the A/T gear position indicator panel light bulb in the panel light socket, then install the panel light socket in the A/T gear position indicator panel. |
| 8. | Route the harness (L) through the shift lever bracket base, and connect the shift lock solenoid connector, then install it on the bracket base. |
| 9. | Check that the shift lock releases when the shift lock release is pushed, and check that it locks when the shift lock release is released. |
| 10. | Install the center console. |
