How to Retrieve a DTC

The climate control unit has a self-diagnosis function. To run the self-diagnosis function, do the following:

1. Remove the center lower cover.

2. With the ignition switch ON (II), if any trouble is found, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) indicator of the climate control unit blinks the diagnostic trouble code to indicate a faulty circuit or component.

Resetting the Self-diagnosis Function

Turn the ignition switch OFF to cancel the self-diagnosis function. After completing repair work, run the self-diagnosis function again to make sure that there are no other malfunctions.
