DTC P1895: | Problem in CVT Driven Pulley Pressure Control Valve Circuit |
1. | Disconnect CVT driven pulley pressure control valve connector. |
2. | Measure the resistance between connector terminals at the control valve connector.
Is the resistance 3.8-6.8 W? YES - Go to 3. NO - Faulty the CVT driven pulley pressure control valve, replace the control valve body.n |
3. | Disconnect PCM connectors B (24P) and C (22P). |
4. | Check for continuity between PCM connector terminal B7 and body ground, and between terminal C1 and body ground.
Is there continuity? YES - Repair short to ground in the wire between PCM connector terminal B7 and the CVT driven pulley pressure control valve connector, and between terminal C1 and the CVT driven pulley pressure control valve connector.n NO - Go to 5. |
5. | Reconnect CVT driven pulley pressure control valve connector. |
6. | Measure the resistance between PCM connector terminals B7 and C1.
Is the resistance 3.8-6.8 W? YES - Update the PCM if it does not have the latest software, or subsutitute a known-good PCM, then recheck. If the symptom/ indication goes away with a known-good PCM, replace the original PCM.n NO - Repair loose terminal or open in the wires between driven PCM connector terminals B7 and C1, and the CVT driven pulley pressure control valve connector.n |
