| DTC P2128: | APP sensor B Circuit High Voltage |
| 1. | Turn the ignition switch ON (II). |
| 2. | Check the APP SENSOR-B in the DATA LIST with the HDS. Is there about 100 %, or 4.82 V or higher when the throttle is fully closed? YES - Go to 3. NO - Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the APP sensor B and the ECM.n |
| 3. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 4. | Disconnect the throttle body 6P connector. |
| 5. | Check for continuity between the APP sensor 6P connector terminal No. 4 and body ground.
Is there continuity? YES - Go to 6. NO - Repair open in the wire between the ECM connector No. 3 terminal No. 30 (test pin box terminal No. 59) and the APP sensor B, then go to 11. |
| 6. | Turn the ignition switch ON (II). |
| 7. | Check the APP SENSOR-B in the DATA LIST with the HDS. Is there about 100%, or 4.82 V or higher when the throttle is fully closed? YES - Go to 15. NO - Go to 8. |
| 8. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 9. | Replace the APP sensor. |
| 10. | Reconnect all connectors. |
| 11. | Turn the ignition switch ON (II). |
| 12. | Do the ECM RESET in the CLEAR MENU with the HDS. |
| 13. | Do the ETCS learn procedure. |
| 14. | Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs in the DTCs MENU with the HDS. Are any Temporary DTCs or DTCs indicated? YES - If DTC P2128 is indicated, check for poor connections or loose terminals at the APP sensor B and the ECM, then go to 1. If any other Temporary DTCs or DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC troubleshooting. NO - Troubleshooting is complete.n |
| 15. | Substitute a known-good ECM. |
| 16. | Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs in the DTCs MENU with the HDS. Are any Temporary DTCs or DTCs indicated? YES - If DTC P2128 is indicated, check for poor connections or loose terminals at the APP sensor B and the ECM, then go to 1. if any other Temporary DTCs or DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC troubleshooting. |
