| 1. | Start the engine and check the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL). Does the MIL come on? YES - Troubleshoot the DTC, and recheck. NO - Go to 2. |
| 2. | Disconnect the ECM connector E (40P) or ECM/PCM connector E (31P). |
| 3. | Check for continuity between each terminal of the ECM/PCM connector E and gauge assembly connector C (40P) No. 16 terminal. With throttle actuator control Without throttle actuator control Is there continuity? YES - Replace the gauge assembly and recheck.n NO - Check the open in the wire and the connection condition of the terminal.n |
