Cable Reel Subharness Replacement - With 7-speed Mode

For KB, KE, KG, and KQ (L15A1 engine) Models (6-position CVT+7Speed Mode)

SRS components are located in this area. Review the following articles in the SRS before performing repairs or service;

2. Remove the screws (A) (4) securing the steering wheel rear cover (B), then remove the steering wheel rear cover.

3. Remove steering shift + (plus) switch connector from its clamp, and disconnect the connector.

4. Remove the screw (C) securing the steering shift + (plus) switch (D), then remove the steering shift + (plus) switch and 7SPEED MODE main switch (E).

5. Disconnect 7SPEED MODE main switch connector.

6. Remove the steering shift - (minus) switch connector (A) from its clamp, and disconnect the connector. Disconnect audio remote control switch connector if equipped.

7. Remove the harness guide (B) and cable reel subharness (C), and remove the cable reel subharness from the harness guide.

8. Replace the cable reel subharness, and install the new subharness on the harness guide.

9. Install the harness guide on the steering wheel.

10. Install the 7SPEED MODE main switch and steering shift + (plus) switch with the screw, and install the steering wheel rear cover with the screws (4).

11. Connect disconnected connectors.

12. Install the steering wheel.
