1. | Remove the steering wheel. |
2. | Check the 7SPEED MODE main switch for continuity between cable reel subharness 13P connector terminals No. 8 and No. 9. There should be toggled continuity and no continuity between terminals every time the main switch pushes.

3. | 7SPEED MODE main switch test has finished if the test result is OK. If the main switch works incorrectly at the 13P connector, test the switch at the switch connector. |
4. | Remove the screws (A) (4) securing the steering wheel rear cover (B), then remove the steering wheel rear cover.

5. | Remove steering shift + (plus) switch connector from its clamp, then disconnect the connector. |
6. | Remove the screw (C) securing the steering shift + (plus) switch (D), then remove the switch. |
7. | Disconnect 7SPEED MODE main switch connector (E), and remove the 7SPEED MODE main switch assembly (F). |
8. | Check the 7SPEED MODE main switch for continuity between the switch connector terminals No. 5 and No. 6. There should be toggled continuity and no continuity between terminals every time the main switch pushes. |
9. | Replace the 7SPEED MODE main switch assembly if the main switch works incorrectly. |
10. | Replace the cable reel subharness if the main switch is OK. |
