| DTC P0811: | Problem in Start Clutch Control System |
| 1. | Check whether the another DTC is indicated. Is the another DTC indicated? YES - Perform the troubleshooting for the indicated DTC(s), and recheck for DTC P0811 after troubleshooting. NO - Go to 2. |
| 2. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 3. | Disconnect CVT start clutch pressure control valve connector from the control valve body. |
| 4. | Start the engine, and shift to the D position. |
| 5. | Check if the vehicle moves. Does the vehicle move? YES - Go to 6. NO - Replace the start clutch.n |
| 6. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 7. | Connect CVT start clutch pressure control valve connector. |
| 8. | Start the engine, and shift to the D position. |
| 9. | Check if the vehicle creeps and check the creeping speed on level ground. Does the vehicle creep and is the creeping speed about 5 km/h (3 mph)? YES - Go to 10. NO - Replace the control valve body.n |
| 10. | Measure the stall speed RPM in the D, S, L, and R positions. Is the stall speed over 3,500 rpm (min-1)? YES - Replace the start clutch.n NO - Go to 11. |
| 11. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 12. | Disconnect CVT start clutch pressure control valve connector from the control valve body. |
| 13. | Start the engine, and shift to the D position. |
| 14. | Check if the vehicle moves. Does the vehicle move? YES - The system is OK, update the PCM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good PCM, then recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away with a known-good PCM, replace the original PCM.n NO - Replace the start clutch.n |
