| 1. | Check the installation condition of the yaw rate/lateral acceleration sensor. Is it correctly installed? YES - Go to 2. NO - If the loose the mounting bolts, tighten the mounting bolts properly, and recheck.n |
| 2. | Park the vehicle on a level surface. Check the YAW RATES in the DATA LIST with the HDS. Is the result? YES - Go to 3. NO - Replace the yaw rate/lateral acceleration sensor.n |
| 3. | Clear the DTCs using the HDS. |
| 4. | Test-drive the vehicle. Does the VSA indicator come on, and is DTC 74 indicated? YES - Check for loose connector terminals in the VSA control unit 46P connector and repair if necessary. If terminals are OK, replace the VSA modulator-control unit.n NO - Cause is the operation condition of the vehicle (drove the vehicle on the canted rode). Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time. Clear the DTC with the HDS, troubleshooting is complete.n |
